Youth Poetry Contests
The Poetry Society of Colorado (PSC) was chartered in 1921. Today, we are a thriving group of creative writers devoted to the art of poetry. PSC offers monthly poetry workshops to help members hone writing skills. Visitors are welcome to attend at any time. Meeting location information can be found here.
The PSC sponsors a number of poetry contests each year. The Members-Only Contests are for members only. All Open Contests are available to anyone and are offered on a rotational basis. The Ann Woodbury Hafen Memorial Contest and the William Harper-Huff Memorial are offered each year. The Youth Poetry contests are open to middle and high school poets in Colorado.
PSC's mission is to promote the study, writing, and performance of poetry in Colorado by offering a wide range of workshops and events throughout the year. Calendar
